15  And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.

  16  And if they be literal descendants of ^aAaron they have a legal right to the bishopric, if they are the firstborn among the sons of Aaron;

  18  And the Lord confirmed a priesthood also upon Aaron and his seed, throughout all their generations, which priesthood also continueth and abideth forever with the priesthood which is after the holiest order of God.

  69  Nevertheless a bishop must be chosen from the High Priesthood, unless he is a ^cliteral descendant of Aaron;

  22  The ^aoverseer also of the Levites at Jerusalem was Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micha. Of the sons of Asaph, the singers were over the business of the house of God.

  18  No man has a legal right to this office, to hold the keys of this priesthood, except he be a ^aliteral descendant and the firstborn of Aaron.
