4  That the Lord may continue his word which he spake concerning me, saying, If thy children take ^bheed to their way, to walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail thee (said he) a man on the throne of Israel.

  25  Wherefore, I, Nephi, did exhort them to give ^aheed unto the word of the Lord; yea, I did exhort them with all the energies of my soul, and with all the faculty which I possessed, that they would give heed to the word of God and remember to keep his commandments always in all things.

  14  And the arm of the Lord shall be revealed; and the day cometh that they who will not hear the voice of the Lord, neither the voice of his servants, neither give heed to the words of the prophets and apostles, shall be cut off from among the people;

  9  Only take ^aheed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons;

  18  Also day by day, from the first day unto the last day, he ^aread in the book of the law of God. And they kept the feast seven days; and on the eighth day was a solemn assembly, according unto the manner.

  2  Behold, I am God; give ^aheed to my word, which is quick and powerful, sharper than a two-edged sword, to the dividing asunder of both joints and marrow; therefore give heed unto my word.

  4  And they shall give ^aheed to that which is written, and pretend to no other revelation; and they shall pray always that I may unfold the same to their understanding.
