Footnotes   ?

  1  Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: for apraise is comely for the upright.

  7  Sing unto the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:

  4  And in that day shall ye say, Praise the Lord, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.

  19  Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

  16  Nevertheless, I did look unto my God, and I did apraise him all the day long; and I did not murmur against the Lord because of mine afflictions.

  20  I say unto you, my brethren, that if you should render all the thanks and bpraise which your whole soul has power to possess, to that God who has created you, and has kept and preserved you, and has caused that ye should rejoice, and has granted that ye should live in peace one with another—

  8  Blessed be the name of our God; let us sing to his praise, yea, let us give thanks to his holy name, for he doth work righteousness forever.

  11  And it shall be given thee, also, to make a selection of sacred hymns, as it shall be given thee, which is pleasing unto me, to be had in my church.

  79  And also this church, to put upon it thy name. And help us by the power of thy Spirit, that we may mingle our voices with those bright, shining seraphs around thy throne, with acclamations of dpraise, singing Hosanna to God and the Lamb!
