19  And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;

  70  These are they whose bodies are celestial, whose ^bglory is that of the sun, even the glory of God, the highest of all, whose glory the sun of the firmament is written of as being typical.

  41  O then, my beloved brethren, come unto the Lord, the Holy One. Remember that his paths are righteous. Behold, the way for man is narrow, but it lieth in a straight course before him, and the keeper of the ^dgate is the Holy One of Israel; and he employeth no servant there; and there is none other way save it be by the gate; for he cannot be deceived, for the Lord God is his name.

  17  And the sight of the glory of the Lord was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.

  14  The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting ^bburnings?

  23  And it came to pass that Nephi and Lehi were encircled about ^aas if by fire, even insomuch that they durst not lay their hands upon them for fear lest they should be burned. Nevertheless, Nephi and Lehi were not burned; and they were as standing in the midst of fire and were not burned.

  7  But they reside in the presence of God, on a globe ^clike a sea of glass and fire, where all things for their glory are manifest, past, present, and future, and are continually before the Lord.

  41  And it shall be answered upon their heads; for the presence of the Lord shall be ^aas the melting fire that burneth, and as the fire which causeth the waters to boil.

  4  And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.
