5  And it came to pass that he caused that the plates which contained the ^brecord of his people from the time that they left the land of Zarahemla, should be brought before Ammon, that he might read them.

  14  And it came to pass that Mosiah received them with joy; and he also received their ^brecords, and also the records which had been found by the people of Limhi.

  13  For I am assured that if ye had known me ye would not have suffered that I should have worn these bands. For I am Ammon, and am a descendant of Zarahemla, and have come up out of the land of Zarahemla to inquire concerning our brethren, whom ^cZeniff brought up out of that land.

  8  And my people would that we should call the name of the place ^aNephi; wherefore, we did call it Nephi.

  12  Behold, I am Amaleki, the son of Abinadom. Behold, I will speak unto you somewhat concerning Mosiah, who was made king over the land of Zarahemla; for behold, he being warned of the Lord that he should flee out of the land of Nephi, and as many as would hearken unto the voice of the Lord should also depart out of the land with him, into the wilderness—

  6  And Ammon took three of his brethren, and their names were Amaleki, Helem, and Hem, and they went down into the land of ^bNephi.

  1  Now it came to pass that after the sons of Mosiah had done all these things, they took a small number with them and returned to their father, the king, and desired of him that he would grant unto them that they might, with these whom they had selected, go up to the land of ^cNephi that they might preach the things which they had heard, and that they might impart the word of God to their brethren, the Lamanites—

  8  And the land of ^aNephi did run in a straight course from the east sea to the west.
