16  For behold, the Spirit of Christ is given to every man, that he may ^cknow good from evil; wherefore, I show unto you the way to judge; for every thing which inviteth to do good, and to persuade to believe in Christ, is sent forth by the power and gift of Christ; wherefore ye may know with a perfect knowledge it is of God.

  16  Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the ^elaw: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

  2  This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the ^alaw, or by the hearing of faith?

  28  And moreover, I say unto you, that salvation doth not come by the ^blaw alone; and were it not for the atonement, which God himself shall make for the sins and iniquities of his people, that they must unavoidably perish, notwithstanding the law of Moses.
