19  And after ye have obtained a hope in Christ ye shall obtain riches, if ye seek them; and ye will seek them for the intent to ^ado good—to clothe the naked, and to feed the hungry, and to liberate the captive, and administer relief to the sick and the afflicted.

  26  And now, for the sake of these things which I have spoken unto you—that is, for the sake of retaining a remission of your sins from day to day, that ye may walk guiltless before God—I would that ye should impart of your substance to the poor, every man according to that which he hath, such as feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, visiting the sick and administering to their relief, both spiritually and temporally, according to their wants.

  27  And again Alma commanded that the people of the church should impart of their substance, ^aevery one according to that which he had; if he have more abundantly he should impart more abundantly; and of him that had but little, but little should be required; and to him that had not should be given.

  16  And there was ^ano inequality among them; the Lord did pour out his Spirit on all the face of the land to prepare the minds of the children of men, or to prepare their hearts to receive the word which should be taught among them at the time of his coming—

  42  Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn thou not away.

  19  And they taught, and did minister one to another; and they had ^ball things common among them, every man dealing justly, one with another.

  23  That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram ^arich:

  17  Think of your brethren like unto yourselves, and be familiar with all and free with your substance, that ^cthey may be rich like unto you.

  7  Seek not for riches but for wisdom, and behold, the mysteries of God shall be unfolded unto you, and then shall you be made ^erich. Behold, he that hath eternal life is rich.
