21  And God created ^agreat whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

  10  And thus they were driven forth; and no monster of the sea could break them, neither ^awhale that could mar them; and they did have light continually, whether it was above the water or under the water.

  5  And it came to pass that the Lord God caused that there should be a ^afurious wind blow upon the face of the waters, towards the promised land; and thus they were tossed upon the waves of the sea before the wind.

  2  Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound that goeth out of his mouth.

  8  Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling his word:

  1  Verily thus saith the Lord unto my servant William Marks, and also unto my servant Newel K. Whitney, let them settle up their business speedily and journey from the land of Kirtland, before I, the Lord, ^bsend again the snows upon the earth.

  12  And the ^arain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.

  17  And it came to pass that in the seventy and sixth year the Lord did turn away his anger from the people, and caused that ^arain should fall upon the earth, insomuch that it did bring forth her fruit in the season of her fruit. And it came to pass that it did bring forth her grain in the season of her grain.
