27  And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it ^bdesolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

  15  When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

  2  Which commandments were given to Joseph Smith, Jun., who was called of God, and ordained an apostle of Jesus Christ, to be the first elder of this church;

  7  I speak not concerning those who are appointed to lead my people, who are the ^afirst elders of my church, for they are not all under this condemnation;

  15  Behold, I command you that you need not suppose that you are called to preach until you are called.

  11  And he shall put off his garments, and put on other ^agarments, and carry forth the ashes without the camp unto a clean place.

  10  And these twelve ministers whom thou beholdest shall judge thy seed. And, behold, they are righteous forever; for because of their faith in the Lamb of God their ^bgarments are made white in his blood.
