Ezekiel 33:31
 31 And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they ahear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their bmouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their ccovetousness.

  15  He that hath ears to ahear, let him hear.

  11  Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of chearing.

  31  And wo unto the deaf that will not ahear; for they shall perish.

  14  And the arm of the Lord shall be revealed; and the day cometh that they who will not chear the voice of the Lord, neither the voice of his servants, neither give heed to the words of the prophets and apostles, shall be cut off from among the people;

  13  Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their bmouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

  8  This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their cheart is far from me.

  46  And why call ye me, bLord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

  28  And now behold, my beloved brethren, I say unto you, do not suppose that this is all; for after ye have done all these things, if ye turn away the needy, and the naked, and visit not the sick and afflicted, and impart of your substance, if ye have, to those who stand in need—I say unto you, if ye do not any of these things, behold, your eprayer is vain, and availeth you nothing, and ye are as hypocrites who do deny the faith.

  19  I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were all wrong; and the Personage who addressed me said that all their creeds were an abomination in his sight; that those professors were all corrupt; that: "they ddraw near to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me, they teach for doctrines the commandments of men, having a form of godliness, but they deny the power thereof."

  36  Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to acovetousness.

  17  For the iniquity of his bcovetousness was I wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart.
