10  Then Ishmael carried away captive all the residue of the people that were in Mizpah, even the king's ^adaughters, and all the people that remained in Mizpah, whom Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard had committed to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam: and Ishmael the son of Nethaniah carried them away captive, and departed to go over to the Ammonites.

  8  And in the fifth month, on the seventh day of the month, which is the nineteenth year of king Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, came ^aNebuzar-adan, captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, unto Jerusalem:

  10  But ^aNebuzar-adan the captain of the guard left of the poor of the people, which had nothing, in the land of Judah, and gave them vineyards and fields at the same time.

  22  And as for the people that remained in the land of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had left, even over them he made ^aGedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, ruler.

  14  Even they sent, and took Jeremiah out of the court of the prison, and committed him unto ^aGedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, that he should carry him home: so he dwelt among the people.
