19  That when he shall finish his work I may ^areceive him unto myself, even as I did my servant David Patten, who is with me at this time, and also my servant Edward Partridge, and also my aged servant Joseph Smith, Sen., who sitteth with Abraham at his right hand, and blessed and holy is he, for he is mine.

  6  As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest ^bfor ever after the order of Melchisedec.

  3  Verily I say unto you, the keys of this kingdom shall ^bnever be taken from you, while thou art in the world, neither in the world to come;

  17  Which priesthood ^bcontinueth in the church of God in all generations, and is without beginning of days or end of years.

  9  Therefore, hold on thy way, and the priesthood shall ^bremain with thee; for their bounds are set, they cannot pass. Thy days are known, and thy years shall not be numbered less; therefore, fear not what man can do, for God shall be with you forever and ever.
