9  Wherefore, gird up your loins and be prepared. Behold, the ^akingdom is yours, and the enemy shall not overcome.

  35  And by giving heed and doing these things which ye have received, and which ye shall hereafter receive—and the ^akingdom is given you of the Father, and power to overcome all things which are not ordained of him—

  22  Are there any among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? art not thou he, O Lord our God? therefore we will wait upon thee: for thou hast ^cmade all these things.

  2  And they had viewed themselves in their own carnal state, even less than the dust of the earth. And they all cried aloud with one voice, saying: O have mercy, and apply the atoning blood of Christ that we may receive forgiveness of our sins, and our hearts may be purified; for we believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who created heaven and earth, and all things; who shall come down among the children of men.

  15  Behold, I am Jesus Christ the Son of God. I created the heavens and the earth, and all things that in them are. I was with the Father from the beginning. I am in the Father, and the Father in me; and in me hath the Father glorified his name.

  9  Behold, I am Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, who ^dcreated the heavens and the earth, a light which cannot be hid in darkness;

  1  Thus saith the Lord your God, even Jesus Christ, the Great I Am, Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the same which looked upon the wide expanse of eternity, and all the seraphic hosts ^eof heaven, before the world was made;

  1  And thus we will finish the heavens and the earth, and all the ^ahosts of them.

  28  For in him we ^alive, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

  36  And it came to pass that Adam, being tempted of the devil—for, behold, the devil was before Adam, for he rebelled against me, saying, Give me thine honor, which is my power; and also a third part of the ^ghosts of heaven turned he away from me because of their agency;
