29  And now I say unto you that it was expedient that there should be a law given to the children of Israel, yea, even a very strict law; for they were a stiffnecked people, ^bquick to do iniquity, and slow to remember the Lord their God;

  3  Now behold ye know that this is true; and ye also know that an angel hath spoken unto you; wherefore can ye doubt? Let us go up; the Lord is able to deliver us, even as our fathers, and to destroy Laban, even as the Egyptians.

  27  That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

  19  Who being ^apast feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

  14  And it came to pass that my father did speak unto them in the valley of Lemuel, with power, being filled with the Spirit, until their frames did ^cshake before him. And he did confound them, that they durst not utter against him; wherefore, they did as he commanded them.
