16  So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

  14  For many are ^acalled, but few are chosen.

  23  Then said one unto him, Lord, are there ^afew that be saved? And he said unto them,

  31  And if by blood, as you are forbidden to shed blood, lo, your enemies are upon you, and ye shall be scourged from city to city, and from synagogue to synagogue, and but ^bfew shall stand to receive an inheritance.

  5  But behold, verily I say unto you, that there are many who have been ordained among you, whom I have called but few of them are ^achosen.
