11  As the partridge sitteth on eggs, and hatcheth them not; so he that getteth ^ariches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool.

  1  And he looked up, and saw the ^arich men casting their gifts into the treasury.

  30  But wo unto the ^arich, who are rich as to the things of the world. For because they are rich they despise the poor, and they persecute the meek, and their hearts are upon their treasures; wherefore, their treasure is their god. And behold, their treasure shall perish with them also.

  23  I say unto you, wo be unto that man, for his substance shall perish with him; and now, I say these things unto those who are ^arich as pertaining to the things of this world.

  112  And the bishop, Newel K. Whitney, also should travel round about and among all the churches, searching after the poor to administer to their wants by ^bhumbling the rich and the proud.

  20  The ^apoor is hated even of his own neighbour: but the rich hath many friends.

  55  Yea, and will you persist in turning your backs upon the ^apoor, and the needy, and in withholding your substance from them?

  39  And thus they did obtain the sole management of the government, insomuch that they did trample under their feet and smite and rend and turn their backs upon the ^apoor and the meek, and the humble followers of God.

  10  Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if ^briches increase, set not your heart upon them.

  3  Your gold and silver is ^bcankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.

  53  And now my beloved brethren, I say unto you, can ye withstand these sayings; yea, can ye lay aside these things, and trample the Holy One under your feet; yea, can ye be puffed up in the pride of your hearts; yea, will ye still persist in the wearing of costly apparel and setting your hearts upon the vain things of the world, upon your ^driches?

  20  The ^aharvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.

  2  And again I say, hearken unto my voice, lest death shall overtake you; in an hour when ye think not the summer shall be past, and the ^charvest ended, and your souls not saved.

  16  Because that he remembered not to shew mercy, but persecuted the ^apoor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart.

  31  He that ^aoppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor.

  79  These are they who are not ^avaliant in the testimony of Jesus; wherefore, they obtain not the crown over the kingdom of our God.
