D&C 62:1  
Behold, and hearken, O ye elders of my church, saith the Lord your God, even Jesus Christ, your aadvocate, who knoweth the weakness of man and how to bsuccor them who are ctempted.

  18  For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to bsuccour them that are tempted.

  12  And he will take upon him death, that he may loose the bands of death which bind his people; and he will take upon him their infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to csuccor his people according to their infirmities.

  2  Being forty days btempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.
