28  And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the ^asmoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace.

  18  And mount Sinai was altogether on a ^csmoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.

  11  For thus spake the prophet: The Lord God surely shall visit all the house of Israel at that day, some with his voice, because of their righteousness, unto their great joy and salvation, and others with the thunderings and the lightnings of his power, by tempest, by fire, and by smoke, and vapor of darkness, and by the opening of the earth, and by ^hmountains which shall be carried up.

  16  And there were some who were carried away in the ^awhirlwind; and whither they went no man knoweth, save they know that they were carried away.

  8  And behold, the city of Gadiandi, and the city of Gadiomnah, and the city of Jacob, and the city of Gimgimno, all these have I caused to be sunk, and made ^ahills and valleys in the places thereof; and the inhabitants thereof have I buried up in the depths of the earth, to hide their wickedness and abominations from before my face, that the blood of the prophets and the saints should not come up any more unto me against them.

  41  And they shall behold blood, and fire, and vapors of ^bsmoke.
