1  The words of God, which he aspake unto Moses at a time when Moses was caught up into an exceedingly high mountain,

4  And Adam and Eve, his wife, called upon the name of the Lord, and they heard the voice of the Lord from the way toward the Garden of Eden, speaking unto them, and they saw him not; for they were shut out from his presence.

51  And he called upon our father Adam by his own voice, saying: I am God; I made the world, and men before they were in the flesh.

16  And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

13  And when he had said these words, the Spirit of the Lord was upon him, and he said: Helam, I baptize thee, having authority from the Almighty God, as a testimony that ye have entered into a covenant to serve him until you are dead as to the mortal body; and may the Spirit of the Lord be poured out upon you; and may he grant unto you eternal life, through the redemption of Christ, whom he has prepared from the dfoundation of the world.

3  And this is the manner after which they were ordained—being called and prepared from the cfoundation of the world according to the foreknowledge of God, on account of their exceeding faith and good works; in the first place being left to choose good or evil; therefore they having chosen good, and exercising exceedingly great faith, are called with a holy calling, yea, with that holy calling which was prepared with, and according to, a preparatory redemption for such.

26  And they who keep their first estate shall be added upon; and they who keep not their first estate shall not have glory in the same kingdom with those who keep their first estate; and they who keep their second estate shall have glory added upon their heads for ever and ever.

15  But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth cfruit with patience.
