35  Yet thou sayest, Because I am ainnocent, surely his anger shall turn from me. Behold, I will plead with thee, because thou sayest, I have not sinned.

6  Thou also sayest, except we repent we shall perish. How knowest thou the thought and intent of our hearts? How knowest thou that we have cause to repent? How knowest thou that we are not a arighteous people? Behold, we have built sanctuaries, and we do assemble ourselves together to worship God. We do believe that God will save all men.

26  Behold ye are worse than they; for as the Lord liveth, if a prophet come among you and declareth unto you the word of the Lord, which testifieth of your sins and iniquities, ye are angry with him, and cast him out and seek all manner of ways to destroy him; yea, you will say that he is a dfalse prophet, and that he is a sinner, and of the devil, because he testifieth that your deeds are evil.
