27  But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the ^cweak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

  19  The ^aweak things of the world shall come forth and break down the mighty and strong ones, that man should not counsel his fellow man, neither trust in the arm of flesh—

  1  Verily, thus saith the Lord unto you, my servant Joseph Smith, I am well pleased with your offering and acknowledgments, which you have made; for unto this end have I raised you up, that I might show forth my wisdom through the ^cweak things of the earth.

  13  Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were ^aunlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

  22  Therefore let my servant Joseph Smith, Jun., say unto the ^astrength of my house, my young men and the middle aged—Gather yourselves together unto the land of Zion, upon the land which I have bought with money that has been consecrated unto me.

  30  And after these lands are purchased, I will hold the ^aarmies of Israel guiltless in taking possession of their own lands, which they have previously purchased with their moneys, and of throwing down the towers of mine enemies that may be upon them, and scattering their watchmen, and avenging me of mine enemies unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me.
