1  And it came to pass on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the ^belders of Israel;

  1  And now it came to pass that after Alma had made an end of speaking unto the people of the church, which was established in the city of Zarahemla, he ordained priests and elders, by laying on his hands according to the order of God, to preside and watch over the church.

  9  And their meetings were ^aconducted by the church after the manner of the workings of the Spirit, and by the power of the Holy Ghost; for as the power of the Holy Ghost led them whether to preach, or to exhort, or to pray, or to supplicate, or to sing, even so it was done.

  45  The elders are to ^aconduct the meetings as they are led by the Holy Ghost, according to the commandments and revelations of God.
