10  But man ^adieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he?

  45  Now, behold, I have spoken unto you concerning the death of the mortal body, and also concerning the resurrection of the mortal body. I say unto you that this mortal body is raised to an immortal body, that is from death, even from the first death unto life, that they can die no more; their spirits uniting with their bodies, never to be divided; thus the whole becoming spiritual and immortal, that they can no more see corruption.

  11  Now, concerning the state of the soul between ^bdeath and the resurrection—Behold, it has been made known unto me by an angel, that the spirits of all men, as soon as they are departed from this mortal body, yea, the spirits of all men, whether they be good or evil, are taken home to that God who gave them life.

  57  And as many of the spirits as were in ^bprison came forth, and stood on the right hand of God; and the remainder were reserved in chains of darkness until the judgment of the great day.

  99  And after this another angel shall sound, which is the second trump; and then cometh the redemption of those who are Christ's at his coming; who have received their part in that ^bprison which is prepared for them, that they might receive the gospel, and be judged according to men in the flesh.

  8  "By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in ^aprison;

  19  By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;

  6  For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
