5  And said unto them, Hear me, ye Levites, ^asanctify now yourselves, and sanctify the house of the Lord God of your fathers, and carry forth the filthiness out of the holy place.

  74  And I give unto you, who are the first laborers in this last kingdom, a commandment that you assemble yourselves together, and organize yourselves, and prepare yourselves, and ^bsanctify yourselves; yea, purify your hearts, and cleanse your hands and your feet before me, that I may make you clean;

  62  And unto him that repenteth and ^asanctifieth himself before the Lord shall be given eternal life.

  19  And this he did that he himself might go forth among his people, or among the people of Nephi, that he might preach the word of God unto them, to stir them up in ^eremembrance of their duty, and that he might pull down, by the word of God, all the pride and craftiness and all the contentions which were among his people, seeing no way that he might reclaim them save it were in bearing down in pure testimony against them.

  16  And there was no inequality among them; the Lord did pour out his Spirit on all the face of the land to prepare the minds of the children of men, or to prepare their hearts to receive the word which should be taught among them at the time of his coming—

  7  Therefore, strengthen your brethren in all your conversation, in all your prayers, in all your exhortations, and in all your doings.
