Deuteronomy 12:31  
 31 Thou shalt not do so unto the Lord thy God: for every aabomination to the Lord, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have bburnt in the cfire to their gods.

  1  Now when these things were done, the princes came to me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands, doing according to their cabominations, even of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.

  4  Howbeit I sent unto you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending them, saying, Oh, do not this babominable thing that I hate.

  8  Now, at this time it was the custom of the priest of Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, to offer up upon the altar which was built in the land of Chaldea, for the offering unto these strange gods, men, women, and children.

  21  And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the afire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the Lord.

  10  There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the bfire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,

  31  And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the dfire; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart.
