 12 Wherefore should the aEgyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce bwrath, band crepent of this evil against thy people.

  28  Lest the aland whence thou broughtest us out say, Because the Lord was not able to bring them into the land which he promised them, and because he hated them, he hath brought them out to slay them in the wilderness.

  6  aAnd it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

  14  And the Lord brepented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.

  19  For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the Lord was wroth against you to destroy you. But the Lord bhearkened unto me at that time also.
