Jeremiah 42:4  
 4 Then Jeremiah the prophet said unto them, I have heard you; behold, I will apray unto the Lord your God according to your words; and it shall come to pass, that whatsoever thing the Lord shall answer you, I will declare it unto you; I will keep nothing back from you.

  7  Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord, and against thee; pray unto the Lord, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses bprayed for the people.

  5  And Samuel said, Gather all Israel to Mizpeh, and I will bpray for you unto the Lord.

  3  But I, Nephi, have written what I have written, and I esteem it as of great worth, and especially unto my people. For I bpray continually for them by day, and mine eyes water my pillow by night, because of them; and I cry unto my God in faith, and I know that he will hear my cry.

  9  Now, it came to pass that when I had heard these words I began to feel a desire for the welfare of my brethren, the Nephites; wherefore, I did cpour out my whole soul unto God for them.
