1  Now the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel, (for he was the firstborn; but, forasmuch as he defiled his father's bed, his birthright was given unto the ^csons of Joseph the son of Israel: and the genealogy is not to be reckoned after the birthright.

  13  Thus saith the Lord God; This shall be the border, whereby ye shall inherit the land according to the twelve tribes of Israel: ^bJoseph shall have two portions.

  2  Command the children of Israel, that they give unto the Levites of the inheritance of their possession cities to dwell in; and ye shall give also unto the Levites ^bsuburbs for the cities round about them.
