22  And when Gideon perceived that he was an angel of the Lord, Gideon said, Alas, O Lord God! for because I have seen an angel of the Lord face to ^bface.

  39  And then shall ye know that I have seen Jesus, and that he hath talked with me ^bface to face, and that he told me in plain humility, even as a man telleth another in mine own language, concerning these things;

  1  Behold, I say unto you, that you must rely upon my word, which if you do with full purpose of heart, you shall have a view of the plates, and also of the breastplate, the sword of Laban, the Urim and Thummim, which were given to the brother of Jared upon the mount, when he talked with the Lord ^gface to face, and the miraculous directors which were given to Lehi while in the wilderness, on the borders of the Red Sea.

  2  And he saw God ^bface to face, and he talked with him, and the glory of God was upon Moses; therefore Moses could endure his presence.
