58  And thus the Gospel began to be preached, from the beginning, being declared by holy angels sent forth from the presence of God, and by his own voice, and by the gift of the Holy Ghost.

  36  And it came to pass that Adam, being tempted of the devil—for, behold, the ^bdevil was before Adam, for he rebelled against me, saying, Give me thine honor, which is my power; and also a third part of the hosts of heaven turned he away from me because of their agency;

  25  And this we saw also, and bear record, that an ^aangel of God who was in authority in the presence of God, who rebelled against the Only Begotten Son whom the Father loved and who was in the bosom of the Father, was thrust down from the presence of God and the Son,

  27  And the Lord said: Whom shall I send? And one answered like unto the Son of Man: Here am I, send me. And ^canother answered and said: Here am I, send me. And the Lord said: I will send the first.

  24  For from this time forth thou shalt be the father of his lies; thou shalt be called Perdition; for thou wast also ^cbefore the world.

  13  For thou hast said in thine heart, ^bI will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

  11  For mine own sake, yea, for mine own sake will I do this, for I will not suffer my name to be polluted, and I will ^bnot give my glory unto another.
