5  And I have also ^aheard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant.

  18  And God did ^ahear our cries and did answer our prayers; and we did go forth in his might; yea, we did go forth against the Lamanites, and in one day and a night we did slay three thousand and forty-three; we did slay them even until we had driven them out of our land.

  3  Behold, verily, verily, I say unto my servant Sidney, I have looked upon thee and thy works. I have ^aheard thy prayers, and prepared thee for a greater work.

  15  And as they lifted up their hands upon me, that they might offer me up and take away my life, behold, I lifted up my voice unto the Lord my God, and the Lord hearkened and heard, and he filled me with the vision of the Almighty, and the angel of his presence stood by me, and immediately unloosed my bands;

  14  And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they ^acome out with great substance.

  4  I will go down with thee into Egypt; and I will also surely ^bbring thee up again: and Joseph shall put his hand upon thine eyes.

  8  He hath remembered his ^acovenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.
