23  But the ^aLevites shall do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they shall bear their iniquity: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations, that among the children of Israel they have no inheritance.

  1  Then came near the heads of the fathers of the ^aLevites unto Eleazar the priest, and unto Joshua the son of Nun, and unto the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel;

  34  But the field of the ^bsuburbs of their cities may not be sold; for it is their perpetual possession.

  4  For the children of Joseph were two tribes, Manasseh and Ephraim: therefore they gave no part unto the Levites in the land, save cities to dwell in, with their ^bsuburbs for their cattle and for their substance.

  14  For the Levites left their ^asuburbs and their possession, and came to Judah and Jerusalem: for Jeroboam and his sons had cast them off from executing the priest's office unto the Lord:

  15  And the five thousand, that are left in the breadth over against the five and twenty thousand, shall be a profane place for the city, for dwelling, and for ^bsuburbs: and the city shall be in the midst thereof.
