25  And may the Lord bless you, and keep your garments spotless, that ye may at last be brought to sit down with ^aAbraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and the holy prophets who have been ever since the world began, having your garments spotless even as their garments are spotless, in the kingdom of heaven to go no more out.

  12  And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in ^aIsaac shall thy seed be called.

  18  Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:

  40  And he loveth those who will have him to be their God. Behold, he loved our fathers, and he covenanted with them, yea, even Abraham, ^cIsaac, and Jacob; and he remembered the covenants which he had made; wherefore, he did bring them out of the land of Egypt.

  9  And that ye may prolong your days in the land, which the Lord sware unto your ^bfathers to give unto them and to their seed, a land that floweth with milk and honey.

  32  Behold, this is the law I gave unto my servant Nephi, and thy ^afathers, Joseph, and Jacob, and Isaac, and Abraham, and all mine ancient prophets and apostles.

  13  Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will ^cmultiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever.

  26  And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called ^cJacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them.

  14  And it came to pass that my father, Lehi, also found upon the plates of brass a genealogy of his fathers; wherefore he knew that he was a descendant of Joseph; yea, even that Joseph who was the son of ^eJacob, who was sold into Egypt, and who was preserved by the hand of the Lord, that he might preserve his father, Jacob, and all his household from perishing with famine.
