3  The ^avoice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

  3  The ^avoice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

  4  As it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The ^bvoice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

  23  He said, I am the ^avoice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias.

  3  Yea, a voice crying—^aPrepare ye the way of the Lord, prepare ye the supper of the Lamb, make ready for the Bridegroom.

  66  Behold, that which you hear is as the voice of one crying in the wilderness—in the wilderness, because you cannot see him—my voice, because my voice is Spirit; my Spirit is truth; truth abideth and hath no end; and if it be in you it shall abound.

  8  Yea, even he should go forth and cry in the wilderness: ^aPrepare ye the way of the Lord, and make his paths straight; for there standeth one among you whom ye know not; and he is mightier than I, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose. And much spake my father concerning this thing.

  6  To lift up your voice as with the sound of a trump, both long and loud, and cry repentance unto a crooked and perverse generation, ^cpreparing the way of the Lord for his second coming.

  1  Hearken, and lo, a voice as of one sent down from on high, who is mighty and powerful, whose going forth is unto the ends of the earth, yea, whose voice is unto men—^aPrepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

  26  And the lesser priesthood continued, which priesthood holdeth the key of the ministering of angels and the ^dpreparatory gospel;

  19  For I perceive that ye are in the paths of righteousness; I perceive that ye are in the path which leads to the kingdom of God; yea, I perceive that ye are making his ^apaths straight.

  28  For he was baptized while he was yet in his childhood, and was ordained by the angel of God at the time he was eight days old unto this power, to overthrow the kingdom of the Jews, and to ^cmake straight the way of the Lord before the face of his people, to prepare them for the coming of the Lord, in whose hand is given all power.
