14  Yet the Lord God saw that his people were a ^astiffnecked people, and he appointed unto them a law, even the law of Moses.

  31  Now it came to pass that when I, Alma, had spoken these words, behold, the people were wroth with me because I said unto them that they were a hard-hearted and a ^astiffnecked people.

  36  Then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy servants, and of thy people Israel, that thou ^ateach them the good way wherein they should walk, and give rain upon thy land, which thou hast given to thy people for an inheritance.

  10  And now, my beloved brethren, and also Jew, and all ye ends of the earth, hearken unto these words and believe in Christ; and if ye believe not in these words believe in Christ. And if ye shall believe in Christ ye will believe in these words, for they are the words of Christ, and he hath given them unto me; and they ^fteach all men that they should do good.

  23  Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way:

  19  I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the Lord speak righteousness, I declare things that are ^cright.

  15  Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
