2  ^aAvenge the children of Israel of the Midianites: afterward shalt thou be gathered unto thy people.

  13  And thou hast shed the blood of a righteous man, yea, a man who has done much good among this people; and were we to spare thee his blood would come upon us for ^bvengeance.

  5  Let thine anger be kindled against our enemies; and, in the fury of thine heart, with thy sword ^cavenge us of our wrongs.
