1  And the Lord said unto Moses, Depart, and go up hence, thou and the people which thou hast brought up out of the land of Egypt, unto the land which I sware unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, Unto thy ^bseed will I give it:

  8  And foundest his heart faithful before thee, and madest a ^acovenant with him to give the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Jebusites, and the Girgashites, to give it, I say, to his seed, and hast performed thy words; for thou art righteous:

  4  Unto the place of the ^aaltar, which he had made there at the first: and there Abram called on the name of the Lord.

  25  And he builded an ^aaltar there, and called upon the name of the Lord, and pitched his tent there: and there Isaac's servants digged a well.

  7  And it came to pass that he built an ^aaltar of stones, and made an offering unto the Lord, and gave thanks unto the Lord our God.

  17  Now I, Abraham, built an ^aaltar in the land of Jershon, and made an offering unto the Lord, and prayed that the famine might be turned away from my father's house, that they might not perish.
