4  Surely he hath ^aborne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

  26  Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had ^ascourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.

  30  He giveth his ^acheek to him that smiteth him: he is filled full with reproach.

  67  Then did they ^aspit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands,

  9  And the world, because of their iniquity, shall judge him to be a thing of naught; wherefore they scourge him, and he suffereth it; and they smite him, and he suffereth it. Yea, they ^aspit upon him, and he suffereth it, because of his loving kindness and his long-suffering towards the children of men.
