31  But the laborer in Zion shall labor for Zion; for if they labor for ^cmoney they shall perish.

  18  But before ye seek for riches, seek ye for the kingdom of God.

  7  Seek not for ^ariches but for wisdom; and, behold, the mysteries of God shall be unfolded unto you, and then shall you be made rich. Behold, he that hath eternal life is rich.

  8  The ^asilver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts.

  2  When ^apride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.

  20  And the Gentiles are lifted up in the ^apride of their eyes, and have stumbled, because of the greatness of their stumbling block, that they have built up many churches; nevertheless, they put down the power and miracles of God, and preach up unto themselves their own wisdom and their own learning, that they may get gain and grind upon the face of the poor.

  27  Behold, my son, I will write unto you again if I go not out soon against the Lamanites. Behold, the ^apride of this nation, or the people of the Nephites, hath proven their destruction except they should repent.
