3  And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.

  4  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

  44  For you shall ^alive by every word that proceedeth forth from the mouth of God.

  21  That I might make thee know the certainty of the ^awords of truth; that thou mightest answer the words of truth to them that send unto thee?

  3  And if you know that they are true, behold, I give unto you a commandment, that you ^arely upon the things which are written;
