8  Give ^athanks unto the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.

  2  We give ^athanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;

  37  Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for good; yea, when thou liest down at night lie down unto the Lord, that he may watch over you in your sleep; and when thou risest in the ^cmorning let thy heart be full of thanks unto God; and if ye do these things, ye shall be lifted up at the last day.

  7  Thou shalt ^athank the Lord thy God in all things.

  11  And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given ^athanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.

  9  And they did sing praises unto the Lord; yea, the brother of Jared did sing praises unto the Lord, and he did ^bthank and praise the Lord all the day long; and when the night came, they did not cease to praise the Lord.
