20  The power and authority of the lesser, or Aaronic Priesthood, is to hold the ^ckeys of the ministering of angels, and to administer in outward ordinances, the letter of the gospel, the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins, agreeable to the covenants and commandments.

  16  Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.

  33  Ye sent unto ^aJohn, and he bare witness unto the truth.

  7  And also John the son of Zacharias, which Zacharias he (Elias) visited and gave promise that he should have a son, and his name should be ^bJohn, and he should be filled with the spirit of Elias;

  4  Thou art blessed, for thou shalt do great things. Behold thou wast sent forth, even as ^aJohn, to prepare the way before me, and before Elijah which should come, and thou knewest it not.

  15  For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be ^bfilled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.

  15  And he that smiteth his father, or his mother, shall be surely put to ^adeath.

  5  But take diligent heed to do the ^bcommandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the Lord charged you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
