37  And I, the Lord, would fight their battles, and their children's battles, and their children's children's, until they had avenged themselves on all their enemies, to the third and fourth generation.

  14  For behold, I do not require at their hands to fight the battles of Zion; for, as I said in a former commandment, even so will I fulfil—I will fight your battles.

  18  But the mountain shall be thine; for it is a wood, and thou shalt cut it down: and the outgoings of it shall be thine: for thou shalt drive out the Canaanites, though they have iron ^bchariots, and though they be strong.

  3  The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my ^bshield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.
