17  But the ^afirstling of a cow, or the firstling of a sheep, or the firstling of a goat, thou shalt not redeem; they are holy: thou shalt sprinkle their blood upon the altar, and shalt burn their fat for an offering made by fire, for a sweet savour unto the Lord.

  3  And they also took of the ^afirstlings of their flocks, that they might offer sacrifice and burnt offerings according to the law of Moses;

  20  And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock, and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel, and to his offering;

  4  By faith ^aAbel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

  75  And let him lift up his voice long and loud, in the midst of the people, to plead the cause of the poor and the needy; and let him not fail, neither let his heart faint; and I will ^baccept of his offerings, for they shall not be unto me as the offerings of Cain, for he shall be mine, saith the Lord.
